Carroll Daily Herald - July 13, 1931, Carroll, Iowa Willey Funeral Held Sunday In Glidden Church Funeral rites for Abram N. Willey of Glidden were held yesterday afternoon in the Methodist church in Glidden. They were conducted by the Rev. E.M. Buehler of the Methodist church, assisted by the Rev. M. Jones of the First Presbyterian church and the Rev. Mr. Morrow, the latter of Guthrie Center. Burial was in West Lawn cemetery, where a Masonic service was conducted at the grave. The following Masons served as pallbearers; W. H. Reever, J. G. Merritt, C. E. Rauworth, George Lamont, Samuel Leonard and Young Moore. Among those who attended the funeral from a distance were Mr. and Mrs. William Bedford of Indianola; Myron A. Willey of Ames; Acey Stocker of Dysart; Mr. and Mrs. Sol Cundy of Laurens; Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Winden and son, Warren, of Cherokee; Mrs. Mary H. Willey of Mason City; Mr. and Mrs. Will Jackley of Omaha.
