Bio

Amason Sue Childress Amason, 87, a native of Chilton County and a resident of Robertsdale, died Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2011. She enjoyed the Robertsdale Senior Citizen's Organization and their activities. Survivors include a son, Alan (Ann) Hinton of Loxley; daughter, Cynthia (Courtney) Hohmann of Jacksonville, Fla.; two sisters, Carolyn (Mitchell) White of Robertsdale and Pearl (Lindsey) Burroughs of Loxley; five grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Visitation begins at 1 p.m. with funeral services at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 28 at Mack Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Loxley. The family requests memorial donations be made to the George P. Thames Senior Citizen's Center, attention Senior Center, P.O. Box 429, Robertsdale, AL 36567.
