Bio

From what I heard from my grandfather, Allen Early "Pete" Jones (1914-1987) and his brother, Charles Dudley "Buck" Jones (1911-2008), Carl had some sort of falling out with their father, Emzy Dudley Jones (1883-1946). Emzy was Carl's oldest brother. My grandfather said that all he knew was that uncle Carl joined the Navy and lived in Kentucky. According to census records Carl lived in Corbin, Whitley county, KY from at least 1920, then he was in Harlan county 1930 and 1940. He married Amanda "Mandy" Sumner in 1915 in Whitley county and they had children; Pearlie May in 1916, Ruby Faye in 1926, and Sarah Juanita in 1929.
