Bio

Robert married Lola Sherwood 3 Oct 1897 in Hill co., TX. In 1900 they were living with Lola's parents in Chickasaw Nation, Indian Territory, where Robert was a farmer. In 1910 the family was living in Cement, Caddo co., OK, where Robert worked in the cement plant. In 1920 the Joneses were living in Hartley co., TX where Robert was a section laborer for the railroad and in 1930 Robert was a section foreman for the railroad (Round Rock Railroad, I believe). By 1940 Robert and his wife Lola were living in Dalhart, Dallam, TX with their son Emzy, who was a brakeman and conductor for the Round Rock Railroad.
