(Ref: CARLSBAD CURRENT-ARGUS, Carlsbad, Eddy County, New Mexico, dated for July 13, 1977, reads as follows: FRANK FORNI JR. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Carlsbad Cemetery for Frank Albert Forni Jr., 25, who died in Bayfield, Colo., Monday. Officiating will be Dr. L.B. Trone, retired Methodist minister. Forni was born and raised in Carlsbad, graudating from Carlsbad Senior High School in 1969. He attended New Mexico State University, majoring in art. He taught silversmith and art classes at New Mexico State University at Carlsbad for a short time. He had lived in Bayfield for the past three months, working as an artist. Survivors include the parents Leon and Patsy Frerich, Carlsbad; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lucian Fletcher, Loving; two brothers, Fred Forni, Farmington, and Johnny Ray Forni, Carlsbad, and two sisters, Donna Estes, Las Cruces, and Beth Ackman, Carlsbad.
