Bio

The Wellington Leader August 4, 1938 Beryl was the fifth child born to George Russel And Mary Perdie Hall. Beryl Hall, 18-year old former resident of the Loco community, was fatally injured Sunday, July 24, in an automobile accident in California. The boy was the son of Mr. and Mrs. G.R. Hall, who now reside at Hobbs, New Mexico. Leaving Loco two years ago, Mr. Hall went to Portales, New Mexico. In April of this year, he went to California, and at the time of his death, resided in Selma. He was born at White's Creek, Texas, on February 18, 1920, and at the time of his death was eighteen years, five months, and seven days of age. His school years were spent at Loco, where he had many friends, Those who knew him remembered him for his many lovable qualities. Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. G.R. Hall, one sister and three brothers, Mrs. L.B. Boyd of Hobbs; Curtis Hall of Ralls; Frank Hall of Henderson and Lloyd Hall of Goldsmith. Funeral services were conducted Thursday, and burial was at the Olympus Cemetery in Childress County. Pallbearers were Bobby Scott, Toodle Wolf, Gene Wolf, McIlburn Morris, Richard Kindle and Clifford Kindle. Flower girls were June Wattenburger, Clovis Scott, Tody Morris, Eunice Kindle, Jerry Kindle and Pauline Wesley. Angie Mitchell Martin
