The Wellington Leader October 11, 1990 Herman Curtis "Curt" Hall, age 81, died Sunday, October 7, 1990 at Amarillo, Texas. Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 9, 1990 at Schooler-Gordon Chapel. Rev. Lewis Ellis, pastor of the First Baptist Church at Lefors officiated and Rev. Johnny Tims pastor of the First Baptist Church of Wellington assisted. Burial was in Memorial Gardens Cemetery, under the direction of Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors of Wellington. Active casketbearers were Brad Clark, Kenneth Minter, Jimmie Scott, Jerry Hall, Owen Larrison, and John Rainey. Honorary casketbearers were Sam Motsenbocker, Albert Fulcher, Dick Judd, Henry Wolf, and Dave Aldridge. Mr. Hall was born in the Olympus community in Childress County on September 17, 1909. His parents were George Russell and Mary Kindle Hall. He married Lottie Scott on June 6, 1934 at Hollis, Oklahoma. He was a retired plant superintendent for Phillips Petroleum Company at Dallas. He returned to Wellington when he retired in 1972. Survivors include his wife Lottie Hall of Wellington, 2 sons; Larry Hall of Pottsville, Pennsylvania, and Gary Hall of Denver, Colorado. He is also survived by 2 daughters in law; Simone Hall of Pottsville, Pennsylvania and Tina Hall of Denver, Colorado. Other survivors include a brother; Frank Hall of Pampa, a sister; Mrs. L.B. Boyd of Wellington, and by 2 grandchildren; Shannon Hall and Colin Hall both of Pennsylvania. Angie Mitchell Martin He was preceded in death by four brothers.
