COLUMBIA — Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Mount Olive Baptist Church near Vixon for Mrs. Onie Gregory, 86, of Columbia. The Rev. Virgil Wilson will officiate with burial at the church cemetery under direction of Riser and Son Funeral Home of Columbia. Mrs. Gregory died Sunday at her residence after a lengthy illness. She was a native of Columbia. Survivors include four sons, A. Benton Gregory of Zachary, Garland Gregory of Ruston, Leo Gregory of Columbia and S. A. Gregory Jr. of Fort Worth, Tex.; three daughters, Mrs. Bernice McClanahan, Mrs. Beatrice Miller, and Mrs. Claudine Love, all of Columbia; one brother, Clarence Railey of Grayson; two sisters, Mrs. Ava McCollum and Mrs. Alice Farmer, both of Abilene, Tex.; 17 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be David Fain, Bill Fain, Alan Gregory, Don Gregory, Dan Gregory, Dr. Alan Herbert and D. L. Mars. Published in The Monroe News-Star (LA), Monday, June 11, 1973
