Bio

Jeff was married to Lucille O'Neal ( #10314668 ), the daughter of Ben O'Neal and Docia Hurt ( #131220822). Jeff worked at a sawmill in Eros. They had one daughter, Dorothy Railey (# 144905721)(1917- 2012) who married Warren Ward Curlee and moved to Houston, Texas in the early 1950's. Jeff's death certificate indicates that he died from diabetes, though the attending physician reported he had it for only 3 months. Jeff's widow Lucille remarried Thomas Edward Breard. They operated a grocery store on the north side of Monroe. Dorothy graduated from Neville High School in 1935, attended business school in Monroe, and worked as a stenographer for the Works Progress Administration, WPA before marrying and moving to Houston.
