Bio
DIED Mrs. John J. Harris at her home in Milford, March 5, 1904, age 68 years, 4 months, and 18 days. Caroline Mutchelknous was born October 17, 1835 at Walnut Creek, Holmes County, Ohio. Was united in marriage to John J. Harris on February 15, 1855 at that place. They lived there until 1873 when they removed to their farm two and one-half miles west of Milford, living there until 1884 when they removed to Holt County, Nebraska. In 1894 they again removed to Milford, which has been their home to the present time. Grandma Harris leaves to mourn three sons and six daughters, one having preceded her to the throne. She has suffered much at times for a number of years, and was taken bedfast on February 29 and suffered much until death. Her death was a peaceful one, and her faith in God was such that it left bright hopes for those left behind. Internment was made at the Fairmont Cemetery at the Amish Church.
