JOHN J. HARRIS Died at his home in Milford, Nebraska, March 31, 1912, age 78 years, 6 months, and 2 days. John J. Harris was born September 29, 1833 at Walnut Creek, Holmes County, Ohio; was united in marriage to Caroline Mutchelnous September 16, 1855 at Walnut Creek, Ohio. They lived there until 1873 when they moved to their farm 2 1/3 miles west of Milford, living there until 1884 when they removed to Holt County, Nebraska. In 1894 they returned to Milford, which has been their home until the present time. Grandpa Harris leaves to mourn three sons and six daughters. His wife and one daughter preceded him to the throne. He suffered from a paralytic stroke. He was conscious until about 36 hours before his death. He was a member of the Amish Mennonite Church. He often mentioned that he was prepared to meet his God. The internment was made in the Fairmont Cemetery at the Amish Mennonite Church. Card of Thanks --We, the sons and daughters of the late John J.
