John Clifford Dudley was born the son of Arthur Martin Dudley and Lucinda Jane Whisennand. They are buried in this cemetery. Clifford was married to Elsie Belle Webster on February 22, 1910. Elsie died of the flu and is buried in this cemetery. Clifford was married to Viola Fay Elliott on April 14, 1920 in Buchanan County, Iowa. She is buried in this cemetery. Survivors include three sons, Carlton of Walker, Donald of Waterloo, and Jack of Eldridge; a stepson, Robert Elliott of Aurora, Colorado; a sister, Dorothy Baty of Troy Mills; 18 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. Services: 10:00 a.m. Monday, Troy Mills Christian Church. Pallbearers will be Keith Dudley, Kenneth Dudley, Kevin Dudley, Neil Dudley, Tony Dudley, David Jacobs. Burial: Troy Mills Cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. today at Reiff-Harris, Quasqueton.
