MARIE HANSEN Graveside services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Chico Cemetery for Inger Marie Hansen, 95, of Chico, who died Friday at a local hospital. She was born March 21, 1887 to Hans and Marie Hansen in Norway. At age 16, she left Norway for Chicago, Ill., where she met H.P. Hansen. They were married in 1910 in Minnesota. While still living in Minnesota, she and her husband were active in various community programs. They came to California in 1924 and lived in the Ordbend area before moving to Chico in 1930. Hansen died in 1943. She was a member of the Gold Star Mothers of Chico. She was also interested in needlework and flowers. Survivors include a son, Elmo of Chico; a daughter, Thelma Jasper of Orland; fourteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Three sons, Walter, Harvey and Donald, all died previously. The Rev. Donald Heinz of Redeemer Lutheran Church will preside at the services. Visitation will be tonight at the Brusie Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements.
