Bio

Mrs. Gertrude Didner, wife of Andrew Didner of Westphalia was laid to rest in St. Mary's Cemetery Tuesday, after last rites at the Church of the Visitation, Westphalia, where Rev. Robert P. Schertz officiated. Pallbearers were Ben Rabroker, John Rabroker, Lee Rabroker, Robert Rabroker, Raymond Rabroker, John Lingnau, and Lee Ray Gottschalk. Nicholson was in charge. Mrs. Didner was born Gertrude Rabroker, daughter of Theodore and Theresa Halfman Rabroker, the pioneer settlers of the Westphalia community. On November 27, 1906, she married Andrew Didner. She is survived by her husband and four daughters, Elizabeth and Helen of Waco, Anna and Catherine of Westphalia; two sons, Andrew and Alois of Westphalia; one brother, Ben Rabroker of Westphalia; three sisters, Mrs. Walter Pinkert of Westphalia, Mrs. Ignaz Musil of Rowena, Mrs. Albert Pinkert of Slaton; three half-sisters, Mrs. August Zimple of Sterling, OK, Mrs. Martin Roessler of Westphalia, and Mrs. Henry Maikoetter of Robstown.
