Services for Marie Langford, 88, of Lufkin, were held January 10, 2010 in the Elwin M. Gipson Chapel at the Garden of Memories Memorial Park. Mrs. Langford was the daughter of Sue Ann Dixon and John W. McCarty. She was a homemaker and a member of the Redland Baptist Church. Survivors: daughter and son-in-law, Pamela J. and Larry Bendel; grandsons, Chris and Logan Bendel; brother and sister-in-law, John A. and Helen McCarty, John W., Jr. and Gwen McCarty; sister, Rebecca Ward and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
