DELANEY: Dave Wilburn Baker, 78, died October 12, 2010 at his home in Delaney. He was born March 1, 1932, in Patrick to Tom and Annie Roxie Prater Baker. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War and a carpenter. Survivors include his wife, Norma Sue Gabbard Baker; two sons, Sherman Baker and wife, Dede, and Ronald Baker and wife, Liz, all of Delaney; three daughters, Carol Shephard of Delaney, Lila Glenn and husband, Mike, of Patrick and Marcia Johnston and husband, John of Elkins; three brothers including Doyle Baker of Patrick and Johnny Baker of Siloam Springs; six sisters, Shirley Sweetser and Thelma Frye, both of Delaney, Julia Pelley of Siloam Springs, Bessie Williams of Bella Vista, Arleta Johnston of Fayetteville and Betty Blair of West Fork; nine grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Brashears Funeral Home in Huntsville. Services will be 10a.m. Saturday at the St. Paul Full Gospel Church. Burial will be in the Patrick Cemetery.
