Bio

Clyde Ernestine Abbott was the daughter of William Henry Abbott and Sarah Frances Bloodworth Abbott. She was born on January 9, 1891 in Sardis, Panola Co, MS. Her parents and several of her siblings moved to the Dallas, TX area about 1908. Clyde had a "beau" before World War I; however, he died in the war. Clyde worked as a stenographer for an insurance company. She never married and lived with her sister Ollie and her family most of her adult life.
