Bio

Ursola Jane Gunn was born in Morgan County, Illinois, on June 21, 1839 and died at the home of her son Ben Rousey, Jan 18, 1919, in Kearney, Neb. She was married Nov 12, 1859 to ** ** ** ** ** her to death fourteen years. To this union were born ten children, six of whom remain to mourn her death. Mr. and Mrs. Rousey came to Nebraska in 1879 and settled on a farm near Edgar. Moving to Edgar a few years prior to her husband's death, she remained here until two years ago then went to Kearney to live with her son. Her remains were brought to Edgar and she was laid to rest in the Edgar Cemetery, Sunday after short service in the Methodist Church, of which she had long been a faithful member.
