Bio

Polly was a daughter of John and Margaret (Mackey) Wright, very early settlers of Morgan County. She married Rev. Alexander S. Gunn, son of James and Ursula (Sweeney) Gunn, another pioneer couple, 15 December 1831 in Morgan County. They were parents of 14 children: George M.; Margaret; Sarah Caroline; James A.; Ursula Jane; Martha Debra; John W.; William A.; Jesse Wiley; Elijah M.; Mary N.; Caleb W. and two unnamed baby daughters.
