From Dusty Norwood... I'm not sure if this memorial was done strictly by census records or if she actually has a grave at this cemetery. I do know however through my family research that your Anna Belle Baxter (F.A.G memorial #105199050 may actually be the same as this woman Anna Belle Bryant F.A.G Memorial# 58981042. My Anna Bell BAXTER was born in Tennessee to Elijah BAXTER and Margaret BRYANT. She went on to marry a gentleman who went by the name "J C LARGE", my records indicate that he may in fact actually be Jonathan Campbell BRANCH. Mr. Branch was a young boy when his father Austin BRANCH died in the civil war and started taking his stepfathers (LARGE), last name. In your bio on her it states she can't be found on the 1880 census, when in fact IF she is the same person as my Anna Belle, she is listed on the 1880 census of Collin County, Texas as A. B BAXTER living with what would have been her grandfather Aron (Aaron) BRYANT and his wife Elizabeth MANTOOTH Bryant, among those also in the home listed are what could have been her future husband Mr. J C LARGE, he is listed as Mr. Aron BRYANTS nephew on the census. In my tree on Ancestry I have the record for their marriage in 1886. Anna Belle and J C had two children together William Austin LARGE and Norma (seen also as Marnie on a census record). After the death (no record yet) of J C, she (Anna Belle) married a gentleman by the name of James D. BRYANT, as far as i can tell they had no children together. Her mother Elizabeth died in 1872 shortly after her last son William Jasper BAXTER was born. The other siblings listed after him are from the marriage of her father Elijah to Miss. Eliza Jane HUNTER. Although her grandparents Aron and Elizabeth are buried in Scott Cemetery in Collin County, McKinney,TX, located here http://www.cemeteries-of-tx.com/Etx/Collin/cemetery/scott.htm Along with her parents (Elijah and Margaret) her stepmother (Eliza Jane), and numerous other relatives on the BAXTER and BRYANT sides. Apparently there was a lot of BRYANT/BAXTER intermarriages during this period.
