Bio

Born to Charles Wallace Quin (1850-1918) & Jane Victoria Kaigler (1852-1939). Ashton married Lula Annie Crawford (1903-after 1930). He and Lula lived in Natchez, MS, in 1930. Does anyone know what became of Lula? Ashton's Social Security number was issued in California. He was living in San Francisco, CA, in 1939, when his mother died. Eventually, he moved to Fort Worth, TX, where he was a mattress maker. After 1944, he married Mrs. Nellie Amanda Hamiter Clark (1897-1978). This was a second marriage for both. Ashton & Nellie lived at 4522 Merida St. in Fort Worth, TX. No children. His death certificate shows him as Quinn, but his tombstone and WWI draft card, which he signed, say Quin.
