Memorial graveside with military honors for Charles Shellenberger, 90, of Gainesville have been set for Saturday September 18, 2010 at 9:30 am at Lakeview Cemetery in Marietta, OK with Rev. Ronnie Carroll officiating under the direction of Geo J Carroll & Son Funeral Home in Gainesville. Mr. Shellenberger died Monday September 13, 2010 at the North Texas Medical Center in Gainesville. Charles was born August 11, 1920 in Marietta, OK to Frank Albert and Lillia Belle Greenwood Shellenberger. Charles served in the Army during World War II in the CBI theater as a radio operator. He enjoyed fishing and playing cards. He was a member of the Cowboys Turtle Association and enjoyed raising cattle and horses as well as training guard dogs. Charles is survived by his wife: Na Dell Shellenberger; daughter: Shelly Paclik; son: Rhett Shellenberger; and grandchildren: Ashley Wood, Meghan German, Patrick Shellenberger, and Garrett Shellenberger.
