Source: Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home MARIETTA -- Graveside services for Bellewanda "Sis" Shellenberger will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2005, at Lakeview Cemetery, Marietta, with Brother Travis Huffman officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home. Born in Marietta to Frank A. and Lillia Belle Greenwood Shellenberger, she died Sept. 17, 2005, in a Marietta hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents; six brothers, Alton, Orville, Orem "Hop", Elmer, F.A. Jr. and David Shellenberger; four sisters, Bertie Dove, Murl Duncan, Lura Brewer and Joyce Buckholtz. She was a homemaker. She had lived all of her life in Love County and was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Marietta. She graduated from Marietta High School in 1944 and was a member of the Professional Rodeo Cowgirls Association Alumni. She was the 1962 World Champion Barrel Racer at the national finals. Her lifelong love was horses. She was the baby of 13 children. Survivors include her son, Randy Keith Robertson, Marietta; daughter, Linda Lou Wade, Pottsboro, Texas; brother, C.J. Shellenberger, Gainesville, Texas; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Honorary bearers will be Keith Wade, John Kelly Davenport, Barry Smith, F.A. "Butch" Shellenberger, Larry Shellenberger, David Lee Shellenberger, Rhet Shellenberger, and Mel Autry -- representing the Rodeo Cowboy Alumni Association. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday at her residence, 800 N. U.S. Highway 77, Marietta.
