Pastor Harold Koelling officiated with the music provided by Louis Smith, soloist, and Dorothy Pointer, organist Pallbearers were Leonard Amos, Marvin Amos, Danny Gibbens, Wilber Amos, Jerald Amos, and Dale Luckett Interment was in the Mt Hope Cemetery near Sargent . NE with arrangements by Rhoad Funeral Home of Sargent. Nebraska . LaVern Don Amos, son of Loren and Leoia Amos, was born June 8. 1932 at Sargent. NE. In 1934 they moved to the farm where they now live, where LaVern spent most of his happy life. LaVern passed away November 6. 1974 in Ord . Ne where he was making his home at the present time, at the age of 42 years. 5 months and 7 days Preceding him in death was one brother. Karol Dean, who died as an infant at the age of 5 months and 10 days. Survivors include his parents, two sisters. Mrs Alvm (Karron) Miller of Scotia. Ne.,and Mrs Stanley (Betty) Scott of Berwyn. NE : five nephews and other relatives.
