Sargent Leader April 16,1942 KAROL DEAN AMOS On Friday, April 10, 1942, the home of Mr. and Mrs. Loren Amos of the Coburg country was saddened by the death of one of their six months old twin babies, Karol Dean. At the time of his departure, the little one was six months and ten days of age. He left, to come later his twin sister Koran Delores, an older brother, father, mother, paternal grandfather and maternal grandparents and other relatives, to answer the same summons, "Come Home." Funeral services were conducted at the home at two o'clock Monday afternoon, April 13, 1942, by F. S. While, pastor of the Christian church at Sargent, assisted by singers from the church. The singers were: Mrs. George E. Steinhoff, Mrs. Shelly Lacy, Mrs. Mert Woods and Sam Weinman. The songs used were "Safe In The Arms of Jesus," "Precious Jewels," and "Abide With Me." Interment was made in the Sargent cemetery. When we gaze a t the dimples of childhood, O'er the brow where the cresses wave. It is hard to believe that the cradle Can be only a step to the grave.
