Herald Coaster, February 17, 2006: Funeral services for Lamar H. Pastor, 81, of Beasley, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, 2006, at St. Wenseslaus Catholic Church in Beasley, with the Rev. Henry Rachunek celebrating the funeral Mass and rite of Committal. Interment will in the St. Wenseslaus Catholic Cemetery in Beasley. Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 17, 2006 at St. Wenseslaus Catholic Church, with a rosary to be recited at 7:30 p.m. Lamar was a resident of Beasley and a World War II veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Vlasta Shula Pastor; brothers, Mike and Basil Pastor; and sister, Vlasta Sulak. He is survived by his wife, Therisa Pastor of Beasley; sons: Roy Pastor and wife Paulette, Michael James Pastor, and Earl Henry Pastor; grandsons: Nicholas and Kyle Pastor; sister, Maxine Pastor Buzek; brothers, Lionel Pastor, and Sidney Pastor and wife Eva; sisters-in-law, Virginia Pastor and Frances Smith; and brother-in-law, Archie Schechinski. Lamar H. Pastor passed away Thursday, Feb. 16, 2006, in Rosenberg. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Knesek & Sons Funeral Home in Wallis. 979-478-6311.
