Bio
Family and family friends of William Calvin Braun (1923–2012) and wife Mathilda "Tillie" Helena (Braun) (1921–2008) gathered at the Reedley California Cemetery on October 11, 2013 to inter the ashes of Calvin in the Reedley gravesite of Calvin's and Tillie's infant son, William Calvin Braun, Jr, who was born on June 14, 1945 and died on June 14, 1945. Also on October 11, the Braun family and family friends watched as the ashes of Mathilda "Tillie" Helena (Goertzen) Braun were interred in the gravesite of Calvin's and Tillie's 2nd infant , Son Braun (FAG 58139213), born and died on November 2, 1945. Thus, one son, William Calvin, Jr. was reunited in his gravesite with the ash remains of the his father, and the other son, Infant Son Braun, was reunited in his gravesite with ash remains of his mother Tillie. Both sons are now united with a parent forever. Calvin's and wife Tillie's interments were done to honor Calvin's and Tillie's last request shared with family prior to Tillie's death in 2008, i.e. "After the second spouse's death, the family would reunite one parent's remains with remains of a son, and then the ashes of the other parent would be placed in the gravesite of the other son. The son's remains were not disturbed as a parent's ashes were placed in a gravesite, and each son remains in his original grave site in the Reedley Cemetery. These baby boys are now united with a parent for all time.
