Bio
Family and family friends of William Calvin Braun (1923–2012) and wife Mathilda "Tillie" Helena (Braun) (1921–2008) gathered at the Reedley California Cemetery on October 11, 2013 to inter the ashes of Calvin in the Reedley gravesite of Calvin's and Tillie's son, William Calvin Braun, Jr, (FAG 58139214) who was born on 14 June, 1945 and died on June 14, 1945. Also on October 11, the Braun family and family friends watched as the ashes of the Mathilda "Tillie" Helena (Goertzen) Braun were interred in the gravesite of Calvin's and Tillie's infant son, Son Braun (FAG 58139213), born on November 2, 1947 and died on November 2, 1945. Thus, son William Calvin, Jr. was reunited in his gravesite with the ash remains of his father, and the 2nd son was reunited in his gravesite with ash remains of his mother Tillie. Both twins are now united with a parent forever. Calvin's and Tillie's interment of their ashes was done to honor their request which was shared with their immediate family prior to Tillie's death in 2008, i.e. "After the second spouse's death, the family would reunite one parent's remains with remains of a son, and then the ashes of the other parent would be placed in the gravesite of the other son. The son's remains were not disturbed as a parent's ashes were placed in a gravesite, and each son remains in his original grave site in the Reedley Cemetery. These baby boys are now united each with a parent for all time.
