Herman Ferdinand Muesse was baptized June 19, 1898, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Round Top, Fayette County, Texas. Herman Muesse married Matilda Schmidt on Nov. 2, 1922, in Malone, Texas. Herman and Matilda Muesse were married 25 years. They were the parents of a son, Herman, Jr., and a daughter, Marguerite Schronk. ******************************************************** OBITUARY FROM THE CORSICANA DAILY SUN, Corsicana, Texas, Tuesday, December 9, 1947 Hillsboro Rites For Herman Muesse Herman Muesse, 49, of Bynum, died Sunday morning. Funeral services were held at Hillsboro Monday afternoon. Surviving are his wife, Bynum; mother, Mrs. Hedwig Muesse, Hillsboro; a son, a daughter, four sisters and five brothers. One brother, Louis Muesse, resides at Frost. OBITUARY FROM THE WACO NEWS-TRIBUNE, Waco, Texas, Tuesday, December 9, 1947 Herman Muesse Dies In Bynum; Rites Held HILLSBORO, Dec. 8 SPL--Herman Muesse, 49, of Bynum, Route 1, died at 7:30 Sunday morning. Funeral services were held at Marshall and Marshall Chapel Monday at 4 p.m., conducted by Rev. Thurman Schumack of Fort Worth, assisted by Rev. Jackson of Oglesby. Interment was in Ridge Park Cemetery. Survivors include his widow; his mother, Mrs. Hedwig Muesse of Hillsboro; a son, Herman Muesse, Jr., of Hillsboro; a daughter, Mrs. Margaret Schronk of Hillsboro; four sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Trompler and Mrs. Paul Manske of Malone, Mrs. Lydia Klein of Waco and Mrs. Henry Loewe of Hillsboro; five brothers, Monroe Muesse and William Muesse of Malone, Paul Muesse of Waco, Julius Muesse of Hillsboro and Louie Muesse of Frost.
