MARY C. WALSH - Rosary for Mary C. Walsh, 83, of 6118 Post St., who died Wednesday at a Boise nursing home, will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at Gibson Funeral Home, Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church by the Rev. David Kundtz. Interment will be in St. John's section of Morris Hill Cemetery. She was born Feb. 11, 1895, at Missouri Valley, Iowa. She married Edward J. Walsh March 7, 1916. They moved to Nebraska, where they farmed. They moved to Boise in 1930 and went into the poultry business. They operated the Walsh Poultry Co., which is now being operated by their two sons. She worked in the business until illness forced her to retire in September of 1971. He died in November of 1953. She was a member of the Catholic Church. Surviving are two sons, Edward L. and Joseph F., both of Boise; two daughters, Mrs. Cecelia Matthews of Boise and Mrs. Ralph (Fern) Van Paepeghem of Meridian; a sister, Estella Rourke of Boise; 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. Pallbearers will be Robert, Thomas, and Ralph "Buster" Smock, Joe and Mike Walsh and Ralph Van Paepeghem.
