Bio

Charley Benjamin "Bennie" Leonard was born 1882 in MO to David Francis & Frances Catherine (ROGERS) LEONARD. His name is listed in AUdrey Cleek's family bible as Charley Benjum Leonard. A cousin gave information about a marriage to Flora Cothon November 12, 1900. I have not been able to find any confirmation of this marriage or record of a Flora Cothom or Cothon. I did find Benny Leonard on the 1910 OK Census for Dent, Pottawatomie County listing him 28 years and "widowed" living with his brother Lonny B. Leonard (Lon Benjamin) and family. Charley Benjamin (C. Bennie) is buried in Garden Grove Cemetery where his father and mother and brothers and families are buried also.
