Bio

Alois Kosch is the son of Johann Kosch (1823-1917) and Anna Geyer (1831-1913). He was born in Irmsdorf, Moravia, Austria (now Jamartice, Czech Republic) and immigrated to Nebraska in 1874. Alois married Alouisa Janicek, the daughter of Frank & Karolina Hermethora Janicek on 9 Feb 1880 in Platte County, Nebraska. They had nine children: Herman John (1880-1949), m. Loretta Mae McGowan Anna (1882-1969), m. George Zeller, then Baltus Hornung William Herman (1885-1975), m. Julia A. Hilger Alois Daniel (1886-1952), m. Bertha Thelen, then Regina Elizabeth Messing Rudolph (1889-1903) Henry J (1890-?), m. Angeline Shields Louisa (Lizzie) (1892-1988), m. George Thomas McGowen Adolph Clarence (1895-1978), m. Hermina "Minnie" Evelyn Schmid Charlotte (Lottie) (1897-1989), m. Frank Zimmer
