The son of Johann Georg Kosch and Josefa Ludwig Kosch, John was born on 5 Jan 1823 in Irmsdorf, Moravia and he was baptized the next day at Romerstadt, Moravia. John married Anna Geyer on 22 Oct 1849 in Irmsdorf, Moravia, Austria (which is now Jamartice, Czech Republic). They immigrated to Nebraska, USA after 1876.
