Herman "Lindsay" Stevenson, Lawrenceville, IL, died Wednesday, December 7, 2005, at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, IN. He was 90. Born on June 3, 1915, he was the son of Riley Stevenson and Barbara Cochran Stevenson. He married Deloris Davis Stevenson and she survives. He worked 29 years for Texaco Refinery; was a member of the Pleasant Ridge Christian Church; Was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in WWII. Survivors include his wife of Lawrenceville; two sons, Robert and wife Pam Stevenson of Woodland, WA and Terry and Debbie Stevenson of West Salem; one daughter, Linda and Dennis Fellows of Bicknell, IN; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; one grandchild, Kevin Waggoner, six brothers and one sister. Funeral services were held Saturday, December 10, 2005, at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, IL. Burial was in May Chapel Cemetery, east of Lawrenceville.
