North Bend Eagle (North Bend, Nebraska) 18 Oct 1951, Thu Page 1 Frank R. Hines Dies Frank R. Hines, a pioneer resident of the Morse Bluff vicinity, died Thursday, October 11 at a Columbus hospital. Death followed a lingering illness. He was born August 8, 1870 at Braidwood, Illinois and came with his parents to Nebraska when two years of age. The family located on a farm about four miles south of Morse Bluff where he grew to manhood. On April 11, 1893 he was married to Miss Anna Nesladek. To this union were born ten children, of whom two daughters and two sons preceded their father in death. He is survived by his wife, three sons: Joseph, Victor and Otto, all of Morse Bluff; three daughters: Mrs. Louis Tenopir aof Morse Bluff, Mrs. James Bunda and Mrs. Emil Bunda, both of Linwood; also by two sisters, Mrs. Anna Racek of Morse Bluff, and Mrs. Rudolph Kavan of North Bend. Ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren also survive him. Funeral services conducted by a minister from Weston were held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Z.C.B.J. hall at Morse Bluff. The funeral music was played by Mr. and Mrs. F.J. Kolbaba of Prague, Mrs. Wm. Perk and daughter, Carol, of Prague sang some appropriate numbers. Pall bearers were Edwin Hines, Raymond Racek, Raymond Kavan, Phillip, Anton and Edward Nesladek. Burial was made in the Killian cemetery. The Sellhorn Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
