Saturday, June 13, 1992 Fremont Tribune Fremont, NE Pg A2 Otto Hines MORSE BLUFF ‒ The funeral for Otto W. Hines, 85, of rural Morse Bluff will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at United Presbyterian Church in North Bend. Mr. Hines died Friday, June 12, 1992, at Memorial Hospital of Dodge County in Fremont. He was a retired farmer. He was born Nov. 16, 1906, in Morse Bluff. He was a life time resident of the Morse Bluff area. He worked for the Saunders County Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Service for 20 years. He also was a precinct office for the Morse Bluff township board for 20 years. He was a member of the United Presbyterian Church of North Bend and Western Fraternal Life Organization. He married Rose Travnicek Feb. 26, 1935, in Fremont. She died Aug. 24, 1972. He married Iola (Eklund) Buresh Feb. 16, 1974, in Gresham. She survives. Other survivors include a son, Marvin of Morse Bluff; a daughter, Elaine Jones of Omaha; three stepsons, LeRoy Buresh of Columbus, Edward Buresh Jr. of Great Falls, Mont. and Richard Buresh of Lincoln; two step-daughters, Mrs. Gene (Norma) Miller of York and Mrs. Byron (Karen) Swanson of Stromsburg; five grandchildren, 12 step-grandchildren, four great-grandsons and four stepgreat-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, four sisters and three infant siblings. The Rev. Don Candy will officiate Tuesday's service. Visitation is in progress until 9 tonight at Moser Memorial Chapel in North Bend. The family will receive friends 7-9 tonight at the funeral home. Burial will be in Killian Cemetery at Morse Bluff.
