Son of Emanuel John Robert and Lillie Belle (Flanagan) Cox Sr. Married tp Jessie Josephine Dickerson, July 3, 1948 Ringold, Georgia--had 2 sons, Edward & David, they later divorced. He was a Sheet Metal Worker. He had recently returned to Surgoinsville, Tennessee after living in California, when his pickup truck ran off highway and crashed into a tree killing him instantly. Served in World War II--US Navy Mine Destroyer-rank GM3
