RUBY G COX WAS THE DAUGHTER OF EMANUEL JOHN ROBERT AND LILLE BELLE FLANIGAN COX. SHE MARRIED JESSE SPEARS BELLAMY 13 JAN 1931 IN HAWKINS COUNTY, TENNESSEE. GOD BLESSED THIS MARRIAGE WITH THE FOLLOWING CHILDREN: JOHN NEAL, RAYMOND EVERETT, DONALD ROOSEVELT, RANDALL KEITH, WILLIAM FRANKLIN, RUBY FAYE AND DENNIS SPEARS BELLAMY. *********************** SURGOINSVILLE – Ruby G Cox Bellamy, age 96, of Surgoinsville passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at Wellmont Hawkins Memorial Hospital after an extended illness. She was of the Methodist Faith. She was preceded in death by her parents: John R. Cox and Lillie Flannigan Cox; four brothers: Robert, James, C. H. "Rank" and John Cox Jr.; sisters: Blanch Smith, Beulah Blevins and Eleanor Dudley; granddaughter: Sharon Hale and grandson: Jonathon Bellamy. Ruby is survived by her daughter, Faye (Wayne) Bailey, whom she made her home with, Rogersville. Sons: Bill (Sharon) Bellamy of Medford, Oregon; John (Shelba Jean), Raymond (Barbara), Don (Bernice), Keith Bellamy all of Rogersville, and Dennis (Judy) Bellamy of Surgoinsville. Grandchildren: Pandora Lawson, Marion, North Carolina, Shane Bailey, Rogersville, Kenny Bailey of Lavaca, Arkansas, John Bellamy, Jr. of Kentucky, Greg Bellamy of Virginia, Jeffrey Bellamy of Surgoinsville, Karen Bellamy of Rogersville and Mitch Bellamy of Nashville; 17 great-grandchildren; sister: Juanita Dudley, Rogersville; half sister: Russell Nimz of Medford, Oregon, and special thanks to caregiver Lisa Blankenship. Visitation with the family will be Thursday, January 6, 2011 from 4 until 6 p.m. at Colboch-Price Funeral Home, or at your convenience anytime at the home of her daughter Faye, 156 Lake Forest Road, Rogersville. Family and friends will gather at noon, Friday, January 7, 2011 at Colboch-Price Funeral Home to proceed to Surgoinsville Methodist Church Cemetery for a 1 p.m. graveside service the Rev. Kenny Bailey and the Rev. Paul Seay will officiate. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Surgoinsville Methodist Church Building Fund, P. O.
