CHERNY Funeral Services Were Held at Linwood on Sunday Linwood, Jan. 7 - Funeral services for Mrs. Marie Cherny were held for Mrs. Marie Cherny were held from the ZCBJ hall at Linwood Sunday at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Fillipi from Clarkson in charge. Interment was in the Killian cemetery near Morse Bluff. Mrs. Cherny, who had been in failing health the past two years, was 58 years, 9 months and 24 days of age at the time of her death on Friday Jan. 3, at her home two miles east of Linwood. She was born Marie Belik on March 10, 1877, near Prague, Neb., and was united in marriage to Albert Cherny in 1895 and moved to the farm near Linwood where she resided until time of death. Mr. Cherny passed away in 1925. Mrs. Cherny is survived by five children, two sons, Emil Cherny and Albert Cherny of Linwood, and three daughters, Mrs. Emil Walla of Linwood, Mrs. Anna Leach of Creston and Mrs. Alice Cusick of Fremont; also seven grandchildren, six sisters and three brothers, as well as mny close friends who regret her passing.
