Services for Zelma Gertrude Davis, 87, were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 7 in the Bethany Free Will Baptist Church, Broken Arrow. Rev. Randy Wilson officiated. Interment was in Stoney Point Cemetery, Scranton, Ark., under the direction of Bixby Funeral Service. Mrs. Davis was born Aug 4, 1916 at Scranton, Ark., the daughter of Albert F. and Lily Tygart Bennett. She passed away Friday, Feb 6, 2004 in Glenpool. A homemaker, Mrs. Davis moved to this area in 1955 and had resided in Tulsa since 1976. She was a member of Bethany Free Will Baptist Church since 1979. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Boyer Davis, in 1974. She is survived by three sons, David G. Davis of Pensacola, Fla.; Donald L. Davis, of Tucson, Ariz. and Daniel R. Davis of Jenks; also two daughters, Carolyn Sue Brown of Catoosa and Renetta G. Zanco of Lothlin, MD.; as well as 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
