She was the daughter of John H. and Elizabeth J. (Lasley) Tygart. They are also buried in Stoney Point Cemetery. Paris Progress , Monday, May 17, 1954 Mrs. Bennett Dies At Scranton Funeral service for Mrs. Lillie Ann Bennett, aged 75 years, who died at her home in Scranton Sunday morning at 1:30 o'clock, was held Monday afternoon at 3:30 at the Methodist church in Scranton with Rev. Virgil Hainsey of Prairie View, the pastor, officiating. Burial in Stony (sic) Point cemetery was directed by the Cox Funeral Home. Mrs. Bennett, a lifelong resident of Logan county, had been a resident of Scranton for many years. She was a member of the Scranton Methodist church. Survivors are her husband, A. F. Bennett; four sons, Alva Bennett of Sallisaw, Okla., Arvle Bennett of Tahlequah, Okla., Keith Bennett of Miami, Okla., and A. F. Bennett, Jr., of the home; and five daughters, Mrs. Ida Mae Fair of Matador, Texas, Mrs. Beulah Carr of Greenwood, Mrs. Zelma Davis of Ossawo, Okla., Mrs. Lucille Moore of Wichita, Kansas and Mrs. Gladys Johnson of Scranton. Cause of Death: Mitral Valve Insufficiency of Heart Due to Hypertension.
