Bio

Mary "Mollie" Layton married William Walter "W.W." Jones 23 Sep 1860 in Lawrence co., AL. They had James B. (July 1861), daughter Willie Lois (Feb 1865), John Walter (Dec 1867), Robert Lee (Jan 1870) and twins Ida B. & Mollie F. (Dec 1870). Mollie and the twins died of disease in 1873. In Feb of 1876, W.W. Jones and his family moved (with ex-brother-in-law Granville M. Layton and his wife and child) to Williamson co., TX. In 1878 Granville's brother Joseph Patrick Layton followed them and they can all be seen on the 1880 census of Williamson co., TX, very near Georgetown.
