Mary Kubesch daughter of Joseph and Theresa Dobecka.Mary Dobecka married Joseph H. Kubesch on November 16,1898. ______________________ Funeral Services for Mrs. Mary Kubesch, 70, Held Here Sunday Funeral services for Mrs.Mary Kubesch,70-year-old widow of the late Joseph H. Kubesch of this city,were held from Hubbard Funeral Home Sunday,May 9,Rev.Benedict Prusia officiating.Interment was in St. Michael's Cemetery,after services at St. Michael's Church. Mrs.Kubesch had been ill only two days at the time of her death at her home here Friday. Born Feb.15.1878,at Dubina,she was the daughter of Joseph and Theresa Dobecka.She was married to Mr.Kubesch at Dubina on Nov. 16,1898,and they settled in Weimar.She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church and the Christian Mothers. Surviving are two daughters,Mrs.Ed Bahner and Miss Martha Kubesch,both of Weimar;four sons,Raymond,Joe and Lewis,all of Weimar,and Emil of Lometa,Texas;two sisters,Mrs.Rud. Hollek of Weimar and Mrs.Annie Sassin of Needville;one brother,Joe Dobecka of Weimar;two half-brothers,Louis Pratka of Needville and Emil Pratka of Schulenburg;and six grandchildren. Pallbearers at the funeral were six nephews:Ed Hollek,Richard Kubesch,Victor Dobecka,Alfred Pratka,Louis Dobecka,and George Sassin. Weimar Mercury,May 14,1948,page 1
