Joseph H. Kubesch son of Fabian Kubesch.Joseph H. Kubesch married Mary Dobecka on November 16,1898. _______________________ Last Rites For Joe H. Kubesch, Sr. Held Here Saturday Funeral services for Joe H. Kubesch,Sr.,64,were held from the family home near Weimar with services at St. Michael's Church,Saturday morning at 9 o'clock.Interment was made in St. Michael's Cemetery with the Rev,Emil Vinklarek officiating.assisted by the Rev.Ignatius Kopezymski. Mr.Kubesch died suddenly at about 11:30 Wednesday morning at the family home,victim of a heart attack.He was 64 years,nine months.and eleven days of age. Pallbearers were six members of the Sons of Herman Lodge.of which Mr.Kubesch was a member:Willie Ripper,Joe Grohmann,Julius Haas,Joe B. Kainer,Anton Beck,and E. Ammann. Mr.Kubesch was born in Austria m 1876.He came to this country with his parents in 1881,settling in this section.He married Miss Mary Dobecka,November 16.1898. Surviving besides his wife are six children,Mrs.Ed Bahner of Holman,Raymond Kubesch of Weimar,Emil Kubesch and Joe Kubesch.Jr.,of Alto.Lewis of New York City,and Miss Martha Kubesch of Schulenburg.Five grandchildren also survive. Those attending the funeral from out of town were:Mrs.Cyril Sassin of Needville,Mr. and Mrs.Louis Pratka and daughter of Needville,Mrs.George Sassin and sons of Rosenberg,Mr. and Mrs.W.M. Cowart of Boling,Mr.Frank Dobecka and sons of Carrollton,Mr and Mrs.Anton Kainer and children of Hallettsville.and Mr.and Mrs.Joe Hollek of Schulenburg. Weimar Mercury,August 1,1941,page 1
