Victoria Advocate, 3 Oct 2004 Rebecca Polasek YOAKUM - Rebecca Polasek, 69, of Yoakum, died Thursday, Sept. 30, 2004. She was born Oct. 22, 1934, in Yoakum, to the late Berthold and Annie Lange Knocke. She was a homemaker. Survivors: sisters, Olivia Knebel of Cuero, Ann Reaves and Sarah Meinke, both of Victoria, and Alverta Cole of Atlanta, Texas; and brothers, Elmo Knocke and Frank Knocke, both of Yoakum. Preceded in death by: husband, Richard Polasek. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Buffington Funeral Home chapel. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, the Rev. Gary Goodson officiating. Burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery. Buffington Funeral Home, Yoakum, 361-293-2333. Memorials: Hospice of South Texas or American Cancer Society.
