Annie Mae Knocke Reaves, 83, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 10, 2011. She was born on May 21, 1928 in Yoakum to the late Berthold A. and Annie Lange Knocke. She was a homemaker and a YMCA water-exercise instructor. She is survived by her husband, Frank; her daughter, Sandra Novosad and husband, Ron of Richmond; son, Keith Reaves and wife Brenda, of Victoria; three grandchildren, Tisha Reaves, Scott Novosad and Leia Novosad Paxton; and two great grandchildren, Ty Hanselka (son of Tisha Reaves) and Zayne Novosad, (son of Scott and Sasha Novosad); sisters, Sarah Meinke, of Victoria, and Alverta Cole of Atlanta. She is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Olivia Knebel, Adella Kaiser, and Rebecca Polasek; brothers, Grover Knocke, Frank Knocke, Elmo Knocke, and Milton Knocke. Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 12, 2011 at Grace Funeral Home with Rev. Bob McGlaun officiating. Burial will follow at 3:30 p.m. at Oak Grove Cemetery in Yoakum. Pallbearers are Scott Novosad, Bobby Smith, Wayne Kaiser, Norman Kaiser, Randy Kaiser, and David Kaiser. Grace Funeral Home, in charge of arrangements.
