The household included: John, born April 1845 in North Carolina of North Carolina parents, married 36 years, a farmer; his wife Lue, age 51, born December 1848 in South Carolina of South Carolina parents, married 36 years, nine living children of 13 born; George, born Arpil 1881 in South Carolina; Minnie, born January 1886 in Texas; Walter, age 12, born September 1887 in Texas; Clara, born June 1886 in Texas; and Tom, born August 1893 in Texas. Walter's 25 year old brother Will and his wife were living next door.
