Bio

Daughter of Benjamin C. Collier and Margaret Lane. She was married on 07-31-1842, in Early Co., GA to Allen Moore Hooks, the son of George Hooks and Susan Bright. Allen Moore Hooks was born in 1820 in N. Carolina and died 01-16-1892. Sarah and Allen came to Texas in 1849, along with her sister and brother-in-law, Martha Collier, who married Allen's brother, William Hooks. Sarah & Allen Hooks had 8 children.
