Bio

George King was the son of John King and Minerva Pease. Married Ruby Daisy Moore around 1922. Father of Imogene and Jeannen King. Brother to Frank H. King, Ida Mary (King) Craddock, Leota (King) Vantine, Minnie L. (King) Hendrichson, and Gladys Elizabeth (King) Walkup. Obit: George A. King, Barber, 58 Dies An Albuquerque resident of 10 years , George Albert King died in a local hospital Tuesday after an illness. He was 58 and was a barber at Sandia Base. The family home is 409 57th St. NW. He is survived by his widow; two daughters, Mrs. John Bechtel of Albuquerque and Mrs. B.D. Hughes of Pie Town; four sisters in Texas and Missouri; and a brother in Texas. He was a member of the Baptist Church and a veteran of World War I. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Palm Chapel of Strong-Thorne Mortuary. Pallbearers will be Dan D. Askos, Harold C. Hedman, James E. Bechtel, Harold Rust, Morgan Sutherland and Price K. Hennan.
