Bio

William B. Koci, 79, of Fairfield died Saturday at the Henderson Community Hospital. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at United Methodist Church in Ong with the Rev. C. J. Willis officiating. Mr. Koci was born in Pleasant Hill and farmed in the Deshler, Harvard and Belvidere areas until 1942 when he moved to Ong where he resided until 1979 when he retired and moved to Fairfield. He was a member of the Ong United Methodist Church. Surviving are his wife, Wilhelmina; five daughters, Helen Cook of Fairfield, Rose Rothfuss of Blue Hill, Adeline Allen of San Antonia, Tex., Margaret Karnatz of Ong and Caroline Dryer of Franklin; two sons, George of Fairfield, Calif., and Darrell of Omaha; two sisters, Frances Souchek of Deweese and Emma Stichka of Ontario, Calif.; a brother, Frank of Kenesaw; and 25 grandchildren, and 25 great-grandchildren. Friends may contribute to the Ong United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Fairfield Cemetery. McLaughlin Funeral Home at Clay Center has charge of arrangements.
